Good
I liked that this book gave readers an insight into how this dystopian world began, the heroine's growth and strength is shown when she decides to start on her own, the hero's acknowledgement and self examination is well done. One thing I did not like was that this introductory book came after the fact.
I don't know if I got a sample or part of a serial? Anyway it was a good very short story and I hope it continues!
This is the beginning of a post apocalyptic tale set here in the US. It starts out the day before it all starts and continues on thru. Very nice story.
It just started to unravel and peek my interest .. then we started with the sails pitch. Not good. It appeared to be a good start on the storyline.
I enjoyed the story and progression of story. Can't wait until book 2 for continuation of story. Kept you on the edge of your . Want to know what happens next.
After reading the second book, which I thought was ok and rereading the 1st Reluctant Companion which I enjoyed I read this prequel story. I enjoyed reading about one couple's reactions and actions to finding out that the world may end and how it was not necessarily a bad thing for their relationship.
